KOOP Radio's Sweet 16 Birthday Benefit
(1/7/11) Austin's outstanding community radio
station KOOP, 91.7FM, celebrates its 16th year with Kelly Willis, Slaid Cleaves and Sara Hickman at Antone's, 213 W. 5th St., January 13 at 7 PM. Tickets are $20.
All proceeds benefit KOOP radio. KOOP is the home of CTBA sponsored Strictly Bluegrass, which airs weekly on Sundays, 10-noon.

Special Screening: O Brother, Where Art Thou?
(11/1/10) CTBA celebrates the 10th anniversary of the
film that inspired a revival of bluegrass/old-time music with a special screening of O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Saturday, November 6, 3-6 PM, at Alamo Drafthouse South. Some of
Austin's finest bluegrass players will perform live. An instrument donated by Fiddler's Green Music Shop will be raffled off to benefit HAAM, the Health
Alliance for Austin Musicians. Come on out for food, drinks, film, music, and a good cause!
2nd Annual Pickin' in the Park

2nd Annual Pickin' in the Park at the Polo Tables Picnic Site in Zilker Park, Sunday, October 24, 12-4 PM. All styles of tradional music are welcome.
Bring your instruments! Hot dogs, veggie dogs, chips and soft drinks provided.

15th Annual Band Scramble & Garage Sale
(7/7/10) Big thanks to all participants! 39 musicians came out
to form 6 bands, and together we raised almost $1,100! This money will help benefit our scholarship recipients.
Thanks also go out to all garage sale donors, shoppers,
listeners, and of course the friendly staff at Artz Rib House.

(04/09/09) CTBA members are invited to attend our annual meeting to install a new Board of Directors. Tom Duplissey
was elected by the current board to replace John Hood who resigned. Tom has agreed to serve as President. Board members continuing to serve
are Russell Gunn, Mike Montgomery and Ken Brown. The CTBA nominating committee has recommended five new board members who
have agreed to serve if elected: Jami Hampton, Ben Buchanan, Carrie Thielemann, Sam Dunn, Billy Bright.
